Friends at Home connects children and teens with special needs with caring teen volunteers who visit them in the place they are most comfortable: their own home.
Through regular visits, shared activities, and genuine friendship, participants and teen buddies build meaningful relationships that often become a special part of their week.
What to Expect
Each friendship is unique. Teen buddies and participants may spend time playing games, doing arts and crafts, baking, reading, working on projects, or simply enjoying each other's company. The focus is not on a specific activity, but on building genuine friendships and creating positive experiences together.
